Titanbay has appointed Adrian Nösberger to its Swiss Advisory Board.

Adrian is President of the Association of Foreign Banks in Switzerland (AFBS), representing nearly 100 international financial institutions, and has led Schroder & Co Bank AG as CEO since 2013. His career spans senior roles at Clariden Leu, Julius Baer, and McKinsey, giving him deep commercial and regulatory knowledge of how Swiss private banks and wealth managers operate.
He joins Stefan Mächler, former Chief Investment Officer at Swiss Life Group, Yves Robert-Charrue, former Executive Board Member and Head of Switzerland & EMEA at Julius Baer, and Michael Gruener, Co-CEO of Titanbay. The Board is chaired by Timo Paul, Titanbay's Head of Switzerland.
Why this appointment matters
Switzerland has long been one of Europe's most sophisticated private markets environments. Swiss private banks and wealth managers have significant, established allocations to private assets, and the infrastructure that supports those programmes has become increasingly central to how they compete and serve clients.
The focus now is on scale, efficiency, and operational excellence. As private markets volumes grow and client expectations rise, the quality of the underlying infrastructure, how funds are structured, how investors are onboarded, how trades are executed and reported across jurisdictions, becomes a genuine differentiator.
Adrian's experience at the heart of Swiss private banking, understanding how institutions evolve their operating models, which regulatory considerations shape decisions, how long-term partnerships are built, strengthens Titanbay's ability to stay closely aligned with that agenda.
"Adrian is one of the most respected figures in Swiss private banking. His experience leading Schroder & Co Bank and the AFBS gives us an exceptional depth of local knowledge at exactly the moment Swiss wealth managers are accelerating their private markets programmes."
Michael Gruener, Co-CEO, Titanbay
"Scaling private markets into the wealth channel is one of the defining operational challenges for Swiss banks and wealth managers right now. I look forward to bringing my experience of the Swiss financial landscape to Titanbay's Advisory Board."
Adrian Nösberger, Swiss Advisory Board Member, Titanbay
