Founded in 2019, Titanbay was established to help investors gain access to top-tier private market funds.

The team now includes over 90 professionals across multiple functions and continues to grow to support our ambitious plans. Our clients benefit from the experience and relationships of our founders, team, Investment Advisory Board (IAB) and our relationship with Mercer.

Together, with a strong understanding of the challenges facing private market investors and the knowledge required to identify the best funds, we are able to provide you with access to an increasingly popular, yet previously difficult-to-access asset class.

Richard is Managing Director of Investor Relations. He joined Titanbay as a founding team member in 2019.

Since 2013, Richard has specialised in financial sales and fund distribution. Most recently, he was on the distribution team at Quest Fund Placement, a London-based private equity placement agent that has raised over €30bn in assets for private equity clients.

Previously, he was a top-performing executive at Acuris/Mergermarket, responsible for multi-million-pound global contracts for top-tier financial institutions including investment banks, institutional investment companies, private equity and private debt funds.

Bradley is an Investor Relations Director at Titanbay. He has a highly diverse career portfolio which includes over three years working between compliance & operational risk and business management at Bank of America, where he focused on regulatory deployment and strategic initiatives across all asset classes.

Prior to this, he spent six years as a British Army Officer and led soldiers on two operational tours: Op Herrick, Afghanistan, and Op Cabrit, Poland. He also boxed for his regiment, The Royal Regiment of Artillery.

Bradley holds the CISI Securities and CISI Financial Regulation qualifications, an Extended Diploma in Leadership and Management from the CMI, and a BSc in Natural Sciences.

James is a Graduate on the Direct Investor Relations team. He holds a MSc in Behavioural Finance from Henley Business School, having previously attained a BSc in Economics from Newcastle University.

Before joining Titanbay, James completed multiple internships across the financial services industry, both in the UK and overseas, with Deloitte, Raymond James and J Safra Sarasin.

Alex leads on fund selection and portfolio construction, identifying and determining best-in-class funds to add to Titanbay's investment platform – as well as managing our relationships with GPs.

Previously, Alex was at Adams Street Partners, a global private markets investment manager, where he was most recently Vice President. He worked across all aspects of the investment decision-making process in the Primary Investment Team, from due diligence to industry review, negotiation and portfolio management. Earlier in his career, he held analyst roles at RBS Global Banking and Markets and at mergers and acquisitions advisory firm Quayle Munro.

Lawrence is primarily responsible for deal execution and investment monitoring. Lawrence joined from Mercer Alternatives, where he worked in the European Private Equity Investment Team making fund investments and co-investments across buyout, growth, venture and impact. Lawrence started his career on the Barclays graduate scheme and holds a first class degree from the University of Manchester in International Business, Finance and Economics. He has also completed the Investment Management Certificate and CFA Level I.

Hakki sits in the Investment team, where he supports fund strategy and investor solutions activity at Titanbay.

Hakki joins from HarbourVest Partners, a global private markets specialist, where he supported the management of the Company's listed private equity vehicle. Prior to that Hakki started his career at Gordian Knot, a hedge fund specialising in complex credit finance, where he assisted with the ongoing monitoring of an investment-grade credit default swap portfolio.

Hakki has obtained a First Class Honours bachelor degree in Economic History from the London School of Economics (LSE) and is a holder of the Investment Management Certificate.

Head of Manager Selection at EJS Investment Management, the investment company for the Edmond J. Safra Foundation. Prior to this, Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management. Benjamin holds a Masters from Universite Paris Dauphine and an MBA from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.

Jean-Francois Le Ruyet is a Partner of the Quilvest Private Equity team, co-managing the US/Europe co-investments and funds programs with a focus on buy-out in Europe. Jean-Francois has over 15 years of experience in PE. Prior to joining Quilvest, Jean-Francois gained strategic consulting experience first with Bain & Company, then with McKinsey, advising PE firms among other assignments. Jean-Francois is a graduate of HEC in Paris and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Former CEO of Barings for the European region, following 5 years as COO. Previously, COO of Babson Capital Europe. Prior to this, co-founder of Duke Street Capital Debt Management. Oliver holds a M.Sc. from London School of Economics, a Ph.D from Warwick Business School and was a Research Fellow at London Business School.

Managing Partner and CIO at Blue Horizon, an impact investment firm focused on the intersection of biology, technology and agriculture. Former Managing Director and Head of European Private Equity at PSP Investments. 15+ years of investing experience from leading global organizations including CVC Capital Partners and EQT Partners. Przemek holds a MSc in Finance from Warsaw School of Economics and an MBA from INSEAD.

Partner and Co-CIO, Mercer Alternatives and serves on the firm's Investment Committees for Private Equity, Private Debt, and Sustainable Opportunities. Duties include providing private market portfolio management and advisory services to institutional clients, and serving as a portfolio manager for the Mercer Private Investment Partners series of multi manager private market funds.

Merrick heads the European Private Equity team within abrdn. With global AuM of c.$18bn, of which over €8bn is focused on Europe, our main activities are making primary commitments, secondary fund investments and co-investments for clients and pooled funds. Merrick sits on the Investment Committee for all European mandates as well as the overall Portfolio Construction & Management Committee.He is also a member of Invest Europe’s Limited Partner Council, an Advisory Board member of numerous funds, and a regular speaker at private equity conferences.

Andreas currently invests privately, having previously been a Portfolio Manager for private equity and real estate investments at Wega Invest, a single family office. Prior to this, Andreas was a Portfolio Manager at Flossbach von Storch.

As CEO, Thomas is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the business, to enable Titanbay to better serve institutional investors in private markets.

Prior to this, he was the chief of staff to the CEO of Eight Roads, the proprietary capital arm of Fidelity International. This followed a number of years at Bain & Company, the tier-1 international strategy consultancy, as well as a secondment at HgCapital, a top-tier private equity firm with £12bn in assets under management.

Thomas holds an MSc/MEng in Computer Science and Software Engineering. Based on his master’s thesis, he launched a venture-backed software company, developing knowledge systems for global top-20 life sciences firms.

As Chief Operations Officer, Gareth is responsible for the firm's operational infrastructure, including fund operations and investor services. He works closely with the technology team to digitise operational processes.

Gareth previously worked at Barings as Managing Director with responsibility for development, management and oversight of Barings' c. €30bn European fund infrastructure. Other previous positions include Finance and Operations Director at AshGrove Capital, where he was responsible for operational, finance, product, compliance, risk and broader support functions, and a period at Deloitte in its audit and assurance team.

As Chief Operating Officer to the Group Ossama Soliman leads the evolution of our offering, creating a customer obsessed culture, improving our operating capacity and creating a world class technology platform to support clients.

Ossama joins Titanbay with almost two decades of experience in technology and financial services; building global financial, payments and B2B products from the ground up and scaling them to multi–billion dollar businesses serving millions of customers in 12 countries.

He has held leadership roles in Strategy, Pricing and Product for American Express in the consumer credit business.  Later at Amazon, he was the Product Executive and General Manager for B2B Lending where he built machine-learning powered products serving customers  globally. Most recently, Ossama was the Chief Product Officer in two fintech unicorn startups in London, TrueLayer and Zilch, where he successfully scaled both into international payments businesses through product launches, pricing optimisations, improvements in conversion, opening new acquisition channels, improving retention and turning around unit economics.

As Head of Intermediary Sales, Stuart leads the platform’s relationships with private banks and wealth managers across Europe and the UK.

Stuart has almost three decades of experience in sales and investment management, having started his career with Standard Life as a graduate and advancing to become Head of EMEA for the merged entity of abrdn.

Stuart brings in depth sales experience across the personal financial planning sector including public market platforms and asset management in both public and private markets for wealth managers across Europe and the UK, making him well placed to develop Titanbay’s strategic relationships and support the business’s expansion plans.

As Director of People & Culture, Natalie ensures that all our people at Titanbay have the proper support and structure in place to achieve their best results and advance their careers. She is also focused on bringing the right people into the business to help it grow and prosper.

Natalie brings a wealth of experience to her role, having previously built and scaled teams across a number of industries. Before joining Titanbay, her most recent position was at a Fintech consultancy which creates financial products for banks across the globe.
